My friend Rachel "challenged" me to move beyond the twirly skirts and try this skirt. It took ALL day, but here it is. I made it for next year, so it is a little too big, but it was pretty fun to make. You have to use 4-5 coordinating fabrics and cut 32+ strips and sew them all together. Not to mention the under layer with a ruffle (I learned to "gather" cause I had to do it 3 times on this one skirt...Im getting better at it, but it's kind of hard.)

It is darling! I'd love to have the pattern, can you email it? swess79@hotmail.com, Thanks!
P.S. Would you ever consider doing a post about finding the time do to all the stuff you do??? You seemed to master time management and that's something that a lot of us moms that want to be fun and creative can't do well! At least me!
Love this skirt and I love the combination of fabrics you chose.
I would love the pattern! I made a few of the twirly skirts, too. They were a lot of fun. Would you mind emailing me the pattern. iamrandiwright@gmail.com Thanks!
Oh wow, this is gorgeous, been wanting to make one of these for ages. I love the fabrics you chose.
I would love the pattern, madavidson@netspace.net.au
Very cute! Very impressed.
You might need to get a new model. Elle looks like she is so over all of your skirts that you have her try on and then take pictures. I'm not over them. Keep them coming! I love to see what I'm not capable of making!
Holy Cow!!! I have got to list this blog in my personal blog lists instead of under "websites" so I can know when you update it. I haven't checked here in awhile and look what I have missed!!!
It turned out so amazing, I still don't know how you ever find the time to fit in these amazing projects!!
Chelsea - Not sure if you remember me. Elisabeth Williams from DG. John is my lil' brother. Someone told me I needed to check out your idea blog. I had no idea how amazingly talented you were. I'm jealous and impressed. I would love this pattern if you wouldn't mind. I'll have to check out your blog from time to time. Hope all is well. My email is etheurer@gmail.com. Keep up the good work. You put me to shame!!
